  1. Probably the fans who didn’t take it up are sniffy about playing at the Perikos old ground (it was ours long before them but whatever) or don’t fancy getting rained on for another season with it being open-aired. Either way, all the better for us.

Haven’t seen a game there myself but did a walk-in on a few occasions. Visibility looks awful from the vantage points on the ticketing page, on par with West Ham away, but better than the alternative.

  2. Take up on season tickets must’ve really been bad if they’re throwing it out to pre-sale. Early noises were that we’d be lucky to have any availability so the dial must’ve shifted that greatly since. Quite fancy the Sevilla game personally if everything lines up

  3. Hadn’t done mine as seemed to be quite fiddly with them saying it was available through the Soci app when it’s still only accessible on the OAB online portal. Sorted it in a matter of minutes though which worked out well as means you avoid being kicked off

  4. Villarreal away when I’m in Barna over the August bank holiday so no early chance to see how attainable Montjuic tickets are but only an 11k take-up from socis by all accounts gives me hope.

Of course Athletic Club away is on the same weekend as the first Merseyside derby of the season so no chance for that one. Valencia trip also clashing with Liverpool-Man Utd in December. Las Palmas might still be a decent fallback but it’s on the missus’ birthday soooo…

It’s like the scheduling gods are punishing me for swerving Everton’s now annual escapology trick to be at Camp Nou’s send-off

  5. Latest noises are that they've managed to finalise the funding but demolition won't begin until September as a result. This feels like it's going to end up exactly like Spurs' rebuild in terms of prolonged delays and spiralling costs. Still, at least we'll be able to get a pint served in 10 seconds

  6. Mate of a mate in Barna had this hand delivered for me last night for a fraction of what the basic 'Motomami' shirts were going for

Fella who sold him it swears it's authentic because the kitman of the day (presumably Corbella) labelled the players' initials on the inside label.

These things are rare as hen's teeth at the best of times so unless proven otherwise, this looks like it belonged to a certain Sr Bakero

  7. Even the replicas are €65 which blows my mind as you can get the real ones second-hand for slightly above that price or, if you’re so inclined, through the Chinese warehouse crew. Always go for the real deal as the remakes, both authorised and fake, rarely hit the spot detail wise

Had to pay over the odds for a few (namely the one posted above and the 96//97 away shirt/shorts) but if you know where to look there’ll be times when you strike gold with a decently priced one

  8. Started in a similar position (146,000 approx) in the summer and already moved up 4000 odd with the renewal. Beyond the usual factors (i.e. deaths) I can see the numbers dropping considerably next year when the uptake in new membership won't be as big as it was this time around.

What's the usual delivery method for the renewed cards? They sent my first one by TNT but that was due to having the presentation box.

  9. Really not happy about this one, especially after the way he and his agent were carrying on over several months. But it's more about his general indiscipline issues off the pitch (to the point that it was until recently a running joke on the guided tours) and his body being made of glass. Only saving grace is that Raphinha's arrival will mean he's theoretically more of a peripheral figure over the next two years

  10. Had a two-week wait on mine being processed but flew through today (once they'd pointed out I had uploaded my passport scan twice!)

What's the deal with the registration fee they mentioned in the initial announcement? Only got charged for the actual membership fee until December so not sure if they waived it since

The president is all in on Haaland, what worries me is if they don't get him then go down to the next targets none of the names mentioned so far sound up to much, some talk of Jaoa Felix for example that's getting back into Coutinho vibes totally against that signing.

How's he planning to fund the Haaland transfer will be interesting as there's been talk of it coming out of the Espai Barca fund, which probably pushes that timeline back a little until the sponsorship deals start rolling in. It's a bold strategy, Cotton

  12. Nike have made a pigs era of Liverpool’s kits since winning the contract from last season although still nowhere near as bad as ours. Their third strip has taken a bit of a kicking today after its launch but you just know we’ll get served up with something even more crap imminently
