Not sure I ever posted in this thread. Having known abot the penya system before, and having stumbled into the New York Penya's local bar whilst there for my brother's wedding, I thought i seemed a great idea - surely there's one somewhere in the country. I think I searched something imaginative like "english penya" on Google (after optimistically searching "plymouth penya"!)
