Penya celebrates Triplet 09
This summer the Penya celebrated Futbol
Club Barcelona's historic treble in stlye with represenatives at each final and
the final league games when the title was decided.
The first title, the Copa del Rey won in Valencia was witnessed by 5 lucky
members and then as the league title was won members attended games home and
away included 1 member present in Mallorca for the title celebrations and 5
members attended Osasuna at home and the title party.
Finally when the historic treble was sealed in Romes Olmpico Stadium no less
than 6 Penya members were in the crowd to witness La Blaugrana defeat Manchester
Utd and seal the clubs 3rd European Cup.
Penya plaque is up!
After a lot of effort and hard work from the Penya committee and in particular Vice-President Adam Brown, the Penya now proudly has their very own plaque outside the Nou Camp. This is somewhat of a landmark for the Penya as we are now recognised amongst all the other FCB penyes. The official opening ceremony was at the Sevilla game on the 22nd April and was superbly attended by members of the Penya.
